Hi, since I update my FOG server from 1.0.1 to 1.1.0, I have a whole classroom with 30 PC who they always reboot in a infinite loop. The only last change that I made was this update. I search in the subject but I only found threads wit .3x version. I need your help please. Thanks!!

Does it give you an error message?

Is it not receiving DHCP? My guess is this is the case, as our ipxe pulls dhcp and if that fails, reboot’s the system.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

FOG now has everything it needs to setup your server, but please
understand that this script will overwrite any setting you may
have setup for services like DHCP, apache, pxe, tftp, and NFS.

It is not recommended that you install this on a production system
as this script modifies many of your system settings.

This script should be run by the root user on Redhat or with sudo on Ubuntu.

** Notice ** Redhat users will need to disable SELinux and iptables in
order to use FOG
Please see our wiki for more information at http://www.fogproject.org/wiki

Have you ensured the switch has STP disabled and, if the switches are Cisco, that portfast is enabled?

OK, for the switch, this is the answer of my colleage, he’s the network admin :

The switch was a Cisco. The config of the switch was spanning-tree mode pvst
spanning-tree extend system-id .
The ports were in switchport access vlan. Spanning-tree portfast was’nt activated, do we have to activate it?

Thank you!
