Using mobile interface: imaging does not use custom kernel

I have some x131e laptops that I have had to specify I custom kernel so that imaging would work correctly. If I deploy an image through the main web interface the laptop uses the proper custom kernel. If I deploy through the mobile web interface it uses the default kernel. I have modified the quick image kernel to use my custom kernel and that works fine using the boot menu. How can I modify the kernel option for the mobile web interface.
