Hi, I’m using FOG 0.32 and i have one problem.

When I select the “Boot local hard disk” entry, the prompt shows me “Booting from local disk” and It doesn’t nothing more.

I tried to change the /tftpboot/pxelinux.0 from pxelinux.0 older versions and It shows me PXE image was found and nothing more.

I’m triying to copy and restore an image with EMBR (BootIt partition manager) but in the PC restored there is a failure con the EMBR:

      BootIt EMBR 4.0

      EMBR missing, system halted

Thank you for any help 🙂

If you can go back to the original pxelinux.0 file that came with 0.32, you’ll be back in the same state. However, this is good!. Because if you look up chainloading and follow those instructions, your issue should be easily dealt with.

        Thank you,

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Yes, I did that but the problem with EMBR is persistent

So did you actually do work and that’s why things don’t boot?

It sounds like whatever you did to “fix” the issues you initially thought were a problem may have broken the mbr data on the disk. I’d recommend maybe booting the system into fog and using testdisk to see if it can help you repair.

It was a bootloader problem, is solved.

But the loop in “Boot from the Local disk” is persistent.

              1 PXE boot>
              2 Boot From Local Disk>
              and the program stops.

Do not start the local hard drive.

Sounds to me like you may need to look into chainloading to allow your system to boot.
