      Heya Folks,

we’re a small business from germany and are just starting with fog to streamline our reset/redeploy workflow. So far, everything is quite good, we can capture and deploy images, speeds are good, booting from network works like a charm. But we’re having some issues with the activation of windows, but i’m not entirely sure if we’re following the right procedure for it to work, maybe one of you guys could point us in the right direction.

As of right now, we’re doing the following:

      1. Set up a PC to our specification (Software, Drivers, etc.)
      2. Register the host in fog, with windows key
      3. Capture the image with fog
      4. Register the next host, also with the windows key
      5. Deploy it to another machine

No Sysprep, No Fog Client involved. But our machines are exactly the same hardware and we’re only needing the images for those machines. Problem is, the windows key isn’t changed, it just copys over the key from the captured host. So what are we doing wrong? Do we need to do a sysprep? Do we need a special type of windows key for this to work?

      Thanks a lot in advance,

      Patrick
