    Hi!

    I run FOG 0.32 on CentOS 6.4

the webinterface run slow some times, but not always.
if I click on something, it might be fast, but sometimes it takes like 5 seconds before anything happens.
You might not think that is much, but I get really frustrated, since my last fog server was perfect, well, untill it crashed at least.
    anyway,
    The deploy/upload speed is fine.
Been like this since I installed it.

Any idea how to fix it?

How much RAM do you have on your system? What kind of install did you provide? Does your FOG Server host other web element’s or serve other functions?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

it has 16 gb ram, and it is brand new. I doubt that’s the reason.
I did network install on CentOS, but FOG was downloaded and installed from harddisk.

The server stands in its own local network. It’s only purpose is FOG, so it does not serve other functions.

Sorry, it has 8 GB RAM, not 16
          It’s still brand new though

Is this system able to reach the internet?

No, it is not connected to the internet.
we tried that with another server we had a long time ago, and it didn’t work out.
So we have always had our FOG-servers on a local network

Then you may want to disable ajax requests, as part of the “hold” seems to be because of it needing access to the internet. It looks to the internet to get the Version information. While it waits to timeout, is probably why you’re seeing the delay.

ehm, it seems like we fixed it on our own.

The server was set up with DNS and gateway, which we really dont need since it is in local network.
We removed DNS and gateway from the IPv4 settings, rebooted the server and it is no longer delaying.

                  Thanks for the replies anyway!
