    Hi All,

I am trying to register a Lenovo G500 laptop to the FOG Server so that I can deploy an image to it, but it just doesn’t register itself. Checking using client system information shows Network as Fail and HDD as Pass. My Fog Server is Centos 6.4 Final 64bit and I am running Fog version 0.32 with Kernel Kernel-3.8.8.core.

How do I go about resolving this issue.

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards,

    Santosh V

You need another kernel that has the driver for that system embedded.

You can try the kernel that I created that has all of the network drivers available for linux built into it.

Just rename it to bzImage in:
      /tftpboot/fog/kernel/

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

The version, that you already downloaded (my guess) is 3.10.10, I just uploaded a new 3.11 kernel same link.

              Hi Tom.

Thank you very much for the boot image. It worked. I think I downloaded the old one but still it worked so no issues.

              Regards,

              Santosh V
