I am trying to install FOG on Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop version (not the server version). I am not totally finished setting it up yet, but before I continue I want to make sure that all the ports I need are not blocked. If some ports are blocked, then is there a way to unblock them?

      Thanks,

      Andrew

You shouldn’t have a problem loading the stock version of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with FOG. Unless you specify to turn on a firewall of sorts in the setup of Linux it will just install and you will then , from terminal, install fog and away you go.
