• Bios error when deploying image

I am deploying an image to a HP probook 4520s and during the screen boot I saw that FOG stated unsupported BIOS, but the image seems to be depolying. Is this something I should be concerned about or is there a fix, I have this with other images that have uploaded.

    • RE: HP Pro 4000 image deploy error

Yes it is a windows 7 Image taken from another pro4000 from HP, I have tried to wipe the disk but the error is still present. The Image Management is setup to Multiple Partitions Image-Single Disk not resizable. I am going to try to install win 7 and update the bios and see if this helps
Just to confirm you are PUSHING the image to the 4000 sff? Is this a standard windows 7 image (100mb partition + ntfs non resizable)

I helped someone on edugeek.net with a similar issue - http://www.edugeek.net/forums/o-s-deployment/61956-fog-client-error-cant-have-partition-outside-disk.html . Long story short… there was a partition table that couldn’t be read by fog, so wiping the drive allowed it to be imaged.
What commands do I run in debug mode? I can boot into debug mode and have a prompt of /#. errors when deploying the image these are the errors. I have attached a screen shot of the process

    • FOG Web interface is slow

My Fog web interface keeps hanging up, it is on a vmware vm with now 2gb of memory and added a 2nd processor and it is still slow. When I first login it seems fine but when I try to navigate and perform a task such as delete an image or image file it takes a long time ie minutes (5-8) and then the page comes back wrong, all the icons are listed down the side and it will not allow to navigate somewhere else. Also when I tried to delete the image file the image name was able to delete but there was an error with the file removal, so I am not sure if there may be a DB error. Any ideas where to look.

    • RE: HP Pro 4000 PXE issues?

Thanks I found the issues, option 60 was used by an old server and once deselected it worked great.

    • HP Pro 4000 PXE issues?

I have just built a new fog box on Ubunto, I can login into the new box and have added a host manually, I am trying to upload the image of the machine and the task starts but the image is not loading. I seems that the PXE boot is not working correctly. I have set the dhcp tick on 66 and 67 on a server 2003 boxes and their is not option for 60 (n/a). Not sure how to further test. Please advise.
