@Arrowhead-IT It speeds up a fast connection because there’s additional bandwidth to use that wouldn’t otherwise be used. On a 1Mb connection, that is not the issue - there simply isn’t any more bandwidth available to use.
@Arrowhead-IT It’s definitely worked for test VM’s that are used for image testing, but it’s also a more general comment for ESXi in general. Worth checking your server guests to ensure they’re all on vmxnet3.
@Arrowhead-IT Scratch that, it totally worked after a restart. So if you go breaking your permissions just run the script posted and restart and violia!
@Wayne-Workman That’s odd. I know that I had to create a different profile for LTSB but it certainly worked in LTSB. The profile I made in Win 10 Enterprise CB won’t work in LTSB and vice versa. Gotta create a new one. It’s lame I know.
My login times are much longer than 4 seconds though. But I have a lot of customziations. Little common fixes and startup scripts and backgrounds and stuff, so my first login for any user is like 2 or 3 minutes, but only a few seconds after that first time.
@Arrowhead-IT the size difference is the folder that stores the data for btsync. For git and svn you’re pulling the whole tree, including past revisions. In the case of btsync the initial pull is of the same size as the svn or git pulls but you’re only getting he changed files rather than a whole new revision.
