@sarge_212 Kernels can be used cross all versions of fog.
Only time to be concerned about kernels is the arch when dealing with old versions of FOG (e.g. FOG 0.32 and prior, in which you MUST use the 32 bit kernels).
@GFm Can you re-re-reupgrade/update?
@GFm What version are you on?
@glienhard If you’re available, possibly, to do a teamviewer session to try to figure out why it’s not ftping, it’d be really amazing. Just hit me up in chat please (so as not to give out information on people being able to connect.)
@Arrowhead-IT I believe the upload issue you’re seeing is simply because you’re debug session is in download mode.
Why is this important? Because the directory that get’s mounted varies depending on the type of image.
Seeing as the images directory is already created and most likely mounted for the download mode, this would be an expected failure, I would think.
@anthonyglamis you can but the new client is actually msi and has support for cli arguments to define configuration of the client. This means you can create a GPO to install the new client. Of course you still have to remove the old client first but I believe there’s a forum posting that discuss how to do this.
