    • Fog rejoining computer to AD that is already in AD

I have a minor problem. I can get fog to join computers to AD in an OU if they do not exist in that OU; however, if they exist in that OU, it gives me this error ( Error 2224 )

Once, I delete the computer from the OU in AD, and restart the fog service, it joins AD again and the OU just fine. I also noticed, that if I don’t assign an OU, I do not have this problem, it will join the domain again after a reimage…even if it is already in AD.

Has anyone else ran into this.

    • RE: Storing images on network share

A cheap and easy way to do this is copy your image files from the fog server to a external hard drive. Then you could copy those images to your NAS. You would have to remember to do this everytime you made a change to the images.

    • RE: Default User in Win7 for someone used to XP

Ok…this is what I heard…and I have not tested it, but you can try it out on a test machine. On windows 7, customize a profile exactly the way you want it. Then create a second administrator user on that machine. Then reboot, and login as the second user. Next step…go in to c:\users and delete the default user folder. Make a copy of the profile folder you have customized with your first user. Rename the copy you made to default user. Then everyone who logs in after that will get the customized settings you setup when they login.
