      @george1421 said in Need new kernel for Intel I225-V network card:

      @will Lets try this kernel.

      https://drive.google.com/file/d/1blQf70N3um0bXmr1wjzQbQk47TA97gpW/view?usp=sharing

      its bzImage593RT2 the only changes is enabling that specific intel network adapter driver.

      I have tested this new kernel. It is working with Intel I225-V NIC now. Thank you for your help.

      @sebastian-roth Thanks. I will do the test later.

      Can you confirm that does this special kernel “bzImage-5.10.19-Lexar_M.2” include NIC driver for Realtek 8125B and Intel I225-V?

      @fog_newb Sorry for the confusion. I mean the Gigabyte B550M Gaming motherboard and Lexar NM700 256GB M.2 SSD for the “2 modules”.

      The Lexar M.2 is having the same “can not find disk on system” issue with Asus Prime B550M-A motherboard.

    • RE: M.2 not recognised during deploying stage

      @george1421 Hi, George

      I can confirm this M.2 is running at AHCI mode, not behind any RAID controller.

      This M.2 model is working with other motherboards (i.e GigaByte B550 Aorus Elite & Gaming X, ASUS & MSI B550, B550M, X570…).
      GigaByte B550M Gaming motherboard is also working with other M.2 models (i.e WD SN550 1TB, Crucial P1 1TB…).

      But when put these 2 modules together, FOG will report “cannot find disk on system”.

    • M.2 not recognised during deploying stage

      Hi, there

      I recently encountered an error message when deploying Windows 10 OS with a specific motherboard and a specific M.2, GigaByte B550M Gaming and Lexar M.2 NM700 256 GB.

      This M.2 is shown in BIOS but FOG reported “can not find disk” after entering deploying stage.IMG_20210309_121642.jpeg

    • RE: Is it possible to let FOG deploy system image to SSD prior to HDD?

      @sebastian-roth I am using FOG 1.5.9.

      Currently, I set the image type as “Single Disk - Resizable”, partition “Everything”.
      We have computers with different specifications, some only one SSD, some SSD + HDD.
      I noticed FOG would download the Windows image to HDD rather than SSD in some cases.

      Is there an option to let FOG select which disk to write to? Right now I am using the “Quick Registration”–>“Auto Assign Image Task” to do the deployment without typing the username and password.

    • Is it possible to let FOG deploy system image to SSD prior to HDD?

      Sometimes the FOG would download the image to HDD.
      Is there a way to let FOG download the image to SSD prior?
      i.e Do a disk write speed test to determine which disk is faster then download the image to it?

    • RE: Permission Denied Capture

      @sebastian-roth said in Permission Denied Capture:

      @Detoss Please give us some more information. Let’s start with some basics like the FOG version you use?

      And Fog website has been setup as an additional and it shows Its been added and working.

      What do you mean by that?

      Please run the following commands on your FOG server and post output here:

      cat /etc/exports
      ls -alR /images
      df -h

      I have encountered the same issue when I want to save the image on to another folder on a RAID1 which uses soft link.
      When trying to capture the image and save it to the RAID1 folder, FOG says “Permission denied”, even its being configured as 777
