    • Printer Management not removing printers

I have printer management enabled, and it will add printers (FOG managed and Assigned Only) just fine. BUT it does not seem to be removing the printers that don’t belong. I can manually remove them from the device, but that kinda defeats the purpose. I need to be able to assign specific printers to (either) groups or individual machines, and be able to have the printer sets adjust accordingly as group assignments (or specific printers assignments) change.

So when John transfers from Sales to Purchasing, he no longer gets the SalesGroup printers, he now gets PurchaseGroup printers.

As it now, they are assigning…but accumulating.

    • RE: Windows 10 Pro OEM Sysprep & Imaging

@george1421 Thank you for the link, George! Yeah, I’ve used FOG for about 2 years, but in a Linux environment (and has worked GREAT), but sysprep has not reared it’s head until now. This post also has a script (in a later comment) to deal with the license key/motherboard issues…any insights?

    • RE: Windows 10 Pro OEM Sysprep & Imaging

@x23piracy As a FOG noob, where does this script need to go? Also, I have tried to modify your “unattend.xml” file for en-US (rather than German…your file, as-is, works great, but wrong local & language)…I modify the language and locations, but it “fails to parse” every time. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
I can get a generalized sysprep to work, and any software & settings ARE persistent through the sysprep and imaging…but then I am back to filling out all the initial set-up prompts. Suggestions?

    • RE: TFTP Server requires manual entry

@Sebastian-Roth I was told by a co-worker, who has worked with FOG a lot more than me, that dnsmasq was the best solution he had found to not have dhcp conflicts with the main router. I guess it wasn’t the best solution after all…I just went with it, and learned the hard way. LOL

@Fernando-Gietz purged and reinstalled dnsmasq (per the method you referenced) …after a snapshot, of course.
Seems to be working properly now. There was also some extra, uncommented -therefore-“bad” code in the ltsp.conf file I had copied from another post (not yours).
New snapshot, made myself some notes…all is well!

    • TFTP Server requires manual entry

I have a FOG instance running as expected, except that it requires me to manually enter the TFTP server address. The unusual thing: the first pc I pxe boot from (vm or physical) pxe-boots fine…it is only subsequent pxe boots that require the TFTP address (once entered, it boots just fine).
I have uninstalled/reinstalled dnsmasq several times, and have mofified the ltps.conf per several forum post… but get the same results.

      My instance:
      FOG v1.5.4
      Host: Ubuntu 16.04
