All that time wasted with Fedora. CentOS 7 works super smooth no errors no problems. Thank you to everybody. I think Fog should put CentOS as there preferred OS just my humble opinion.

HP DC7800 network boot
I am having troubling booting from Fog on my HP DC 7800. Yes they are old. But they were working on an older version on FOG 1.5.2 or ealier I am not sure. I am currently running 1.5.5. I read other posts about changing the kernel to 4.15.2 and adding the acpi=no in the kernel option. I have tried this and it says kernel is too old. When I try a newer kernel and the latest it says RCU grace-period kthred stack dump. Thank you.

RE: Booting from SAN device 0x80 hang
Thank you for the quick response. I normally create my images using a virtual pc. This time I did not do that and forgot to check the bios settings. I did not even think about checking that. Thanks again.

RE: Booting from SAN device 0x80 hang
It is booting from BIOS mode. Would have creating an image booting from UEFI mode cause this problem? I think that is what happened.

Booting from SAN device 0x80 hang
Server
- FOG Version: 1.4.4
- OS: CentOS 7
Client
- Service Version: 0.11.12
- OS: Windows 10 Education
Description
My workstations will not exit out of the ipxe boot. They image fine and will boot to windows if you have the BIOS set to boot to hard disk first. But it hangs at "Booting from SAN device x80 if I have the network boot first. I am currently testing on a HP Pro P3400 Series MT desktop. I have tried a couple different other models with the same result. I have tried all the different Host BIOS exit types.

RE: Delete Host gui login
Thanks. I guess there is no option to turn that off? I understand that for an image but for a host I do not think it is needed.
