FOG 1.2.0 on Ubuntu 14.04
Hello! We are doing some network changes in the coming weeks and are changing our IP scheme, which means that our FOG server will need to change as well. We are wondering if there is a way to change what IP our computers with the FogClient are pointing to, without having to re-image all of them.
Thanks!
Hello,
So my school district is pretty new to FOG, we began to phase it this summer, so we are still trying to get some of the I guess simple things ironed out. We have one FOG server in our central office, and we are trying to use the WoL to start an image without having to touch the machine so it can be at least started by the time a tech drives out to the school to do the config and whatnot.
Since each building is on its own VLAN we tried the WOL Forwarding section from the wiki, ( http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/WOL_Forwarding#WoL_Forwarding ) but to no avail. Is there anything else we would need to do to get this working?
Also, the FOG version is 1.2.0 and we’re running on ubuntu 12.04.

EDIT: There was a mistake in our access lists. Got it going it seems. Just needed me to post about it for us to figure it out.
what happens if you run:
sudo service tftpd-hpa restart
and try booting a host again?
I was having the same problem and this worked for me. I then tried rebooting my server and had to run the command again. Is there a fix to not have to do this every time I need to reboot my server?
