Well here is my problem. I was supposed to have these HP 650 Notebook computers cloned about 2 weeks ago and I have been having tons and tons of trouble.

I have tried everything on the FOG wiki and on here and nothing seems to work.

I have cloned about 200 or so computers with no issues with FOG. I am just getting frustrated with this not working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here is the error I get:
[I][FONT=sans-serif][COLOR=#000000]unable to move /images/dev/macaddress to /images/name-of-image[/COLOR][/FONT][/I]

It had stopped there, upgrading the BIOS helped, but now it gets to 99% and has an error stating
“unable to move /images/dev/f04da2867522.000 to /images/HSLMCC (our image name)” any ideas would be great!

I have been using FOG to clone computers flawlessly for 11 days now. But I ran into a problem today. I get the error “no chip?” The computer is a Dell E5410. Attached is a picture. [ATTACH=full]272[/ATTACH]

Just a quick question, sorry if there is already a thread about this, but I am in somewhat of a hurry. Does anyone know if you can deploy snap-ins to a computer that has to FOG client, but hasn’t been cloned?

we download about 40mbps and upload 20, we are linux based, have had problems with the network going down in the past, but we have recently discovered that we have “dirty power” and fluctuations in current are usually not good for switches and servers, in my opinion

My system admin’s at the school I clone at are worried that if we clone over the network it could bring the whole system down, simply because of the mass amount of data that is being transferred. If anyone could give me an idea on the likely-hood of this happening or share any experiences you have had running over networks please let me know, thanks!!

been a while since I asked this question, but I just thought i would let everyone know that cloning a blank computer with no OS works perfectly, just get the MAC from the BIOS and make sure that the imaged computer has the client to make future cloning easy and it should work without flaw. I am continually impressed by this program!!
