Dell Optiplex 7010

Disregard everything I said, as I’m still trying to pinpoint the problem. As of right now FOG can only connect to virtual machines running on my personal PC and nothing else.

That’s weird, i’ve imaged close to 100 7010’s with no problems what so ever, and i’m pretty sure we are using the same NIC chipset that you are. Being that this is a new model however, have you updated the Kernel? I know we are running Kernel 3.6.9 without any problems. I would try updating the kernel and see what happens.

I just received over 100+ Optiplex 7010 for work and I’ve been trying to image them for a few days now.
Coming from clonezilla, I was really hoping that the Intel linux driver I installed to my clonezilla server for the Dell 790s would work for the 7010s. I was wrong. After absolutely destroying my clonezilla ubuntu machine trying to get it to work I decided to start new with CentOS and FOG. I’ve spend the last 2 days trying to get it to work but without any luck. The Ethernet controller on the 7010 is the “Intel® 82579 Gigabit Ethernet Controller” and you can get the linux drivers for that. Now getting FOG to use those drivers is another problem in itself.
Currently, I can get the fog pxe menu on both virtualbox and vmware workstation VMs but I can’t get any of my Dells to PXE boot. I’m using CentOS 6.3, Windows server 2012(dhcp), and latest FOG.

I’m sure someone can help you troubleshoot. You’ll need to provide a lot more information first. Can you provide details about your server configuration, your system and what is happening when you attempt to image it?
