Dashboard freeze after login
-
Hello,
I just update fog 1.2.0 in svn version 1.3.
Everything is ok, except when connecting the webgui, the dashbord appears and freeze the browser.
I tested under IE11, FF47, and Chrome 51.
In “storage management”, if I turn off “is enabled graph” I did freeze over on the dashboard, but I have no more info.
Thanks for your helpPS : Excuse me for my english…

@Tom-Elliott Thank you again for your response
This screenshot is from another fog, which is 100% functional.
My fog does not display the network graphic and freeze dashboard.

@scfrancis The dashboard screen will only show those things if the links it’s using to get the information are available and something is returned.
Does this mean things are now working?
-
Hello,
This screenshot shows dashboard that works with the network graphic that appears.
Thanks for your help
-
@Tom-Elliott Yes thats exactly it !!
-
@scfrancis Don’t know if you can tell, but I’m not french speaking. Um, but from what I gather the message is showing something along the lines of: ‘script is not responding?’ and is asking if you want to allow it to continue correct?
-
@Tom-Elliott Excuse me, I forgot a screen shot (text in french sorry)…
The first screen shot (in my last post), my browser was frozen.
Thank you again for your patience and your help !! -
@scfrancis I don’t know what you mean then.
Your screen shot appears to show everything is working properly.
-
@Tom-Elliott Unfortunately no
-
@scfrancis So this is solved now?
-
@Tom-Elliott Thanks a lot for your help !!
The browser cache has been removed
Here are somme screen :

@scfrancis forgive my rudeness.
What do you mean? Can you provide a screen shot? What version are you on now, I did two back to back and I believe your browser is likely using a cached javascript file. Is it still “frozen” if you hard refresh the browser (SHIFT+F5)?
-
@Tom-Elliott I just update fog in Version 8126 (svn 5691) is still the same problem …
-
@scfrancis can you update? I realized the JavaScript was loading in a deferred state. This makes them wait for return before allowing the browser to move on.
-
Thanks for your answers.
Yes the images was uploaded on the main server (fog).
Running Version of FOG : 8103
SVN Revision : 5680
Debian version : 7.11
Kernel Linux : 3.2.0-4-amd64 / Debian 3.2.78-1 x86_64 -
@scfrancis Are the images being kept on the main server itself? What OS and version is FOG running on?
-
Yes it’s eth0 not ETH0
-
@scfrancis said in Dashboard freeze after login:
My interface IP of fog is ETH0 (“ip addr show”) and it’s the same in storage management…
It’s normally lower-case, like
eth0
-
if the “graph is enabled” option is enabled, I have on the dashboard “storage node disk use” the percentage free and used, but no graphic “bandwidth - transmit” (and dashboard freeze)
-
Thank you for your answer.
My interface IP of fog is ETH0 (“ip addr show”) and it’s the same in storage management…
The management username and management password is the same in fog settings / tftp server…
I don’t understandThanks for your help !
