PC stalls on "Waiting for link-up on net0"
Dell Optiplex 780
I’ve booted on a 990 successfully, but the 780 won’t boot.
is this with all 780’s or 1 or a select few?
i’ve had a few issues with 780’s and 380’s where they performed slower then they should while booted into windows, and the I/O chip on the motherboard (the one that doesn’t have a heatsink) gets so hot you can’t keep a finger on it. just the other day i had one of these that i was having trouble getting to work with fog, and after being really persistent with it, it eventually failed to boot at all any more. as in, will not go past the dell splash screen, freezes
Junkhacker, I’m updating the bios now, will report back.
It stalls on that message, and then reboots, the same thing it was doing before.

Is the FOG Version really 1.0.2 or 1.2.0?
is the bios up to date with the latest release?
