The tooltip reads: “recorded before this server moved to UTC; written in America/New_York”.

These captures were made after the upgrade, though. One finished at 10:22 PM Eastern and shows 2026-11-04 03:22:56 *, which is the UTC value. On 1.5, the same server showed local times.

Server time zone settings, for reference: timedatectl, FOG_TZ_INFO, PHP and MariaDB are all America/New_York.

Reading src/Base/StorageEpoch.php, it looks like this is the BAND_HOURS = 26 window: values within 26 hours of the UTC storage boundary are treated as pre-boundary and shown unadjusted. If so, a couple of questions:

Can you confirm that’s what’s happening, and that captures after the 26-hour window will display in local time, using FOG_TZ_INFO or a user preference, with no asterisk?
For values inside the band, the tooltip says they were written in America/New_York, but they’re actually UTC. Could the note be worded differently for in-band values, something like “recorded near this server’s move to UTC; time zone uncertain”?
Where is the per-user display time zone preference set in the new UI?
