Bit of a strange one here. I’ve built a fresh fogserver on 1.6.0-beta.2310 running on Ubuntu 26.04

All seemed to setup fine and registered my first host and captured it’s image. The issue was however when I got to register the next host, I’m met with the error "Unable to register host: This machine already registered as first hostname

It’s a completely different machine with a different MAC address etc. I’ve tried to register several other hosts and get the same error.

I am able to manually add a host through the portal and did so and it showed as being registered fine in the IPXE boot. I then deleted the first host and now everytime I try to register a host through the boot menu it’s again unable to register as it already exists as the second hostname that I added manually through the portal.

Any ideas?

Much appreciated!
W

Works perfectly. Can register hosts as normal

Maybe a bug with 1.6.0… hopefully if anyone else experiences this issue this might help
