  @skyborne98 Sorry for the long delay. Not too many people know the ins and outs of the fog-client, especially when it comes to the Linux part of it.

  In the log we see ProtocolError which I have not seen before I think. Do you have a customized httpd/apache configuration or default created by the FOG server installer?

  Re: Multiple Windows Boot Manager using UEFI Having this similar issue when imaging a machine. No problems and it seems that all of the bootmgfw.efi files work for booting into Windows 11 for a newly image machine, but I’d rather remove this issue, before I have a machine with 12 of these files and several are corrupt. Anyone have a solution for how to get rid of this issue, or at least mitigate it?

  @Redbob ok I think I know where its falling down but we need evidence and not an opinion.

  Can you get a computer on the target’s network running wireshark? If yes create a pcap of the pxe booting process with this capture filter port 67 or port 68 This will only capture the dhcp process. What we are interested in is the dhcp OFFERS from one or more dhcp servers. In one of those OFFER packets is the bad actor that is sending your pxe booting into a loop. If you can’t figure it out who the bad actor is post the pcap here and I’ll look at it. The answer will be in the pcap. Use my capture filter so we only see the dhcp process and not other random traffic on your network.

  I understand the bless comand but will this not change the boot partition permanently? I dont have a problem to boot from the right partion.

  no I have the time to deal with this problem again.

  Again further details how I have done it:

  made a fat 32 partition in my intel iMac copied all the files from my working USB-Boot-Stick to the partition Started the mac by holding the option key No I could choice the boot partition (my new Fat 32 boot partition with all files from the working usb-boot-stick) got the eror:
  app.efi: LocateProtocoll(AppleLogging) succeeded
  error: no such partition

  could it be that there have to be done other work that the fat32 boot partition will find the exact file to boot.
  I have made the USB-boot sticks with Rufus. I dont kow if there were made changes by rufus.

  Luckily I could schedule a meeting with my System-Admin today, and he tried turning off the serving of the WDS boot file - seems in the configuration of option 66 and 67 of our companies DHCP server was an old Windows Server that served a meaningless WDS file, we changed it to my FOG Server and the issue is now solved.
