An issue was found in 1.5.6 that calls for an early next release to fix that. Find the details here if you run into problems with FTP connections on kernel updates or storage nodes in 1.5.6: https://github.com/FOGProject/fogproject/issues/311
@processor Warning I’m not 100% sure on this answer, but the master node will only react upon images it knows about. So on your remote fog server (configured as a storage node) you should be able to make additional images on the remote fog server without the master node knowing or erasing them. The fog replicator only reacts to the image definitions stored in the fog database on the master node (as long as you don’t have the same named images captured on the remote fog server as the master fog server).
So I have been recently rebuilding my FOG server and thought of a feature that would be very handy to have. Is there any way we could have an option, in Snapins, to locate and select the inf file locally, like you can select the snapin file in the snapin addon? That would be super helpful.
I appreciate all you do!
